Itinerary

07:30 am: Pick up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

09:00 am: Arrival at Cu Chi Tunnels.

Introduction to Historical Exhibits: Upon arrival, your guide will provide an introduction to the Cu Chi Tunnels and their significance in Vietnam’s wartime history. You’ll learn how this 250-kilometer tunnel network served as a hidden base for operations. You’ll also watch a short documentary that details the construction, strategic use, and challenges faced by the soldiers who lived in the tunnels.

Tunnel Exploration: Begin exploring the tunnel network! You’ll have the option to crawl through narrow sections of the tunnels, experiencing firsthand the conditions in which Viet Cong soldiers lived and operated. These tunnels are divided into multiple levels and have secret entrances and passageways. For those who prefer not to crawl, there are larger, modified tunnel sections for a more comfortable experience.

Trap and Weapon Displays: View a variety of booby traps and weapons used by the Viet Cong. Your guide will demonstrate how each trap was crafted and explain the clever strategies soldiers used to protect their positions and catch enemy forces by surprise.

Living Quarters and Cooking Areas: See reconstructed underground living areas and kitchens where soldiers and civilians stayed. Your guide will share stories of survival and the unique techniques used to conceal smoke from cooking fires, which helped keep the tunnels hidden from the enemy.

Tapioca Tasting and Local Tea: To complete the experience, enjoy a traditional snack of tapioca and tea. This staple food was crucial to sustaining the soldiers underground.

12:00 pm: Depart from Cu Chi Tunnels and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

1:30 pm: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. Drop-off at your hotel.
